The original of this reproduction of a bronze plaque was created by a skilled Etruscan master of the 5th century BC and now is part of the Hermitage collection. It represents the winged god of the Sun and served as a chariot decoration. The Sun god wearing a radiant corona and a long shimmering garment travels across the sky projecting his life-giving rays on the Earth. His image was believed to bring luck. It has been skillfully crafted by experienced workmen of the Hermitage workshops. Each product has been compared to the original and approved the by the museum specialists.
